I’ve been a recluse for about six years. Always been an introvert who loves to travel but in late 2020, a life event outside of COVID happened, which led me to slowly becoming a recluse. The journey I’m on with this website is a HUGE step outside of my comfort zone for many reasons.

One thing that I love do during my spare time is play around with color. It all started over 15 years ago when I made a website dedicated to an anime I watched as a teenager. From that point, I explored different ways to work with color until I found my sweet spot which is the art I make here. 

I love exploring color and always find myself making new art and wanting to build a real career out of this love. There have been many failures along the way. Maybe one day I’ll share my old website and my first YouTube art channel. But here I am back at it again. This time with a more uniformed focus and brand name.

My art is very abstract. I like to blend my drawings with color, patterns, objects, anything that interests me, to create something that’s strange and bold. The closest label for my work is mixed media abstract art. Drawing is great stress relief for me and the weirder the drawings are the better!

If I travel anywhere, I will create a travel series where each piece of art will focus on that destination. I don’t travel often but it would be very nice to travel the world and expand KATCLUSE with thousands of designs from hundreds of different cities throughout the world. Travel always pushes me outside my comfort zone and I truly love it. 

My main focus is to post art daily. I will be posting weekly music videos suited towards listening while working or studying. I completed a 30 day challenge years ago and that was very difficult. This time, I plan to do nine months of consistent work. Anything to help me stay focused will be extremely beneficial. And in saying that… I am working on an app that can help with organization.
