KATCLUSE ARTWORK: DAY 185

Today is September 1st. Six months ago, I started this crazy nine month challenge. I haven’t missed a single day in posting new art on this website. I made shorts for the YouTube channel as well. Honestly, it’s been a maddening journey that has broke me but also I feel shock right now. I’ve learned so much during this time. I know at the start of this challenge, I wouldn’t have made something like this piece and been happy with it. The realm of abstract art started for me in 2012 but I never been on a streak like this in my life.

With color, it’s always nice having parties inside my comfort zone. I think I pushed myself throughout the past six months to open my eyes to color blends outside the norm. Though… I am loving the red that’s in this piece. Just now I thought about the red scribbles here as ketchup being squirted on the design, lol. SIX MONTHS!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! WOW! OMG! ALL THAT AWESOME STUFF. I AM SCREAMING IN AWE OF THIS MOMENT IN CAPS.
