Reaching a zenith of color through a six month art journey.
This mix marks the sixth month benchmark for the art challenge. September 1st, is the day and it’s incredible to reach this point in the journey. It hasn’t been easy and I was truly tested some months, July in particular was really tough. This design is the beauty of this challenge. I find myself loving a lot of pieces I made where yellow was the star. If you’ve read the product pages, you know how much I hate that color. Yellow, Brown, and Green are colors I never really liked. I wanted to see if I could end up liking these colors by forcing myself to work with many blends using these colors. Yellow is really starting to become a stand out for me. I really love this design. I made two versions. The blog post version is the second one. It’s lighter and I love it just as much as the main version featured in the weekly video. The drawing isn’t perfect but I just love the little curve in the lines. It’s perfect within the imperfection. The colors here fit very well for Summer. Color is amazing. I have to say an admission. I will never do a challenge like this again and a part of me wishes my goal was six months instead of nine.
