KATCLUSE MIX: TRENTE ET UN

Stuck In a Dead End Cycle

The day repeats. A never ending cycle with no break in the grind, and it feels like years go by in days. The same day. The same cycle. A moment to thrive doesn’t exist. A moment to smile rest in vices. Hope snickers and pretends it’s your best friend while you search for a way out. But… deep down, you know there’s no way out. So… the day repeats. And the dead end cycle continues. Bills need to get paid. Unprofitable dreams begin to die when they have no value outside of your own love. 🎨

I was browsing stock footage and found this video of a guy in an office smashing up computers and appear to be screaming (might not actually be screaming since there wasn’t any audio). I instantly thought about my dead end job and had the footage on repeat for a while. I know I wanted to work with yellow. Just a had a feeling to use that color as the main for this piece. All of this just makes me really sad especially given this challenge has really tested me. The last couple of months have been rough.

If you haven’t seen the pushup video, I go into detail on that post about how I make these videos. If you’re curious, check it out.

This was the easiest video made so far using scripts in Photoshop. It’s technically called actions but I like calling it scripts since that’s the name for it in Paintshop. No errors on this one and didn’t take too long to make it. I only hope it’s the norm for future videos. I would like to make more videos like this one, using footage as my canvas in a design. It’s expensive to buy stock footage so I’m limited on how many I can do per month. For a comparison, you can see how the video looks without my design added to it here. The link is to one of the clips used. I used three clips for this video.

I hope these videos can help you as well on your journey. Music this week will feature Cinematic Synthwave.
